Having a hair growth halt ?
Are you experiencing a hair growth halt ? Seem to be doing everything right, but you haven't seen growth in months ? We know how frustrating it can be when you're not seeing results. So we're here to help !!
Try these tips out several times in the next month, and find out what works for you. Remember you only get results from what you put in, so give them a real go ;)
1. Make sure your iron is in check.
Studies have shown that being iron deficient can lead to hair loss... and we definitely don't want that ! So let's get on it; red meat, broccoli, spinach, beans, tofu, baked potatoes, cashews and dried fruits just to name a few.
2. Get a massage !
We've said it before and we'll say it again ;) Treat your scalp to a good old massage. Circular motions on the scalp can prompt hair growth.
3. Make a move.
Now, we know it’s not quite as appealing as booking in for a head massage, but exercise is another wonderful way to boost circulation in your quest to stimulate hair growth.
Consider a treatment for your hair, maybe for your scalp if you can't get around to a massage. Or maybe for your ends, to help keep them hydrated for the day. Either way, you will be boosting some growth.
5. Change your shower temp.
This is an important step. We all love a toastie shower.. but what's not common knowledge is that hot water or very warm water, continuously hitting our scalp and beading down our hair strands, can strip and in some ways burn off, our natural sebum (natural hair oils). So turn the heat down a bit, and protect your lovely locks.
