At Kus Culture ® we are proud to create effective hair care products that are also environmentally conscious. We totally understand the importance of reducing our impact on the environment, so we continuously work with our suppliers, and internally, towards this goal.
We acknowledge there is always room for improvement, so we remain committed to always taking steps towards maintaining and growing our environmental consciousness and responsibility. We believe in creating hair care products that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance in Australia, and worldwide, once we enter the global market. Our team of local Australian chemists work tirelessly with us to ensure our products are in line with legislative regulations where applicable.

OUR HAIR CARE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURER
At Kus Culture® we are very serious that our hair care products manufacturer has quality and ethical work and production practices to ensure our products include the best ingredients and are all high performing. For this reason, we have partnered with a local Australian business to formulate and manufacture all our hair care products.
Our product manufacturer is 100% carbon neutral and has the following certifications:
This is a globally recognised certification, that provides the overall assurance that products are being manufactured in a facility that is a “best practice manufacturing environment”. This means the company that holds this certification must follow a quality approach to manufacturing to minimise or eliminate contamination, mix-ups, and errors. These guidelines protect consumers from purchasing ineffective or even dangerous products.
This standard is internationally recognised and indicates that the business holding this certification meets customer and regulatory requirements in the provision of
their products and services while also demonstrating continuous improvement.
This certification indicates that the holder of the certificate has met a globally respected and rigorous world-wide standard for organic production and processing.
This standard indicates that the holder of this certificate has met the standards set by five leading European certification bodies with the aim of creating a global Organic and Natural Cosmetics Standard. The five bodies are: BDHI (Germany), Cosmebio (France), Ecocert (France), ICEA (Italy) and Soil Association (UK).
This certification provides recognition by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources under The Export Control (Organic Produce Certification) Orders.
This is short for Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, which is a global organisation that provides a platform for the management and sharing of ethical and responsible business practices in supply chains. Having this membership indicates a commitment to being a business that works to improve ethical, sourcing, and responsible business practices, enhance brand reputation, and increase transparency in supply chains.
OUR PACKAGING
Hair care products: Our bottles, jars, tubes, lids, caps, pumps are all recyclable.
Our focus is to use recyclable material where possible and continue to look at ways to reduce our carbon footprint. For this reason, we choose our packaging supplier carefully - and have partnered up with a local Australian business with
a mission to provide packaging that will help improve their global footprint and sustainability. This is done by being committed to reducing their environmental impact by making conscious, business decisions to utilise recycled or recyclable packaging and using biodegradable packaging to name a few. Their main focus is to produce products that can be used repeatedly resulting in packaging products that reduce waste and are non-toxic to humans and the environment. They have ISO approved 9001:2015 certification.
Our sandalwood combs and bamboo brushes are packed in biodegradable bags.
Our towels are packed in biodegradable bags.
The custom-made boxes used to package our customer orders are a fully recyclable cardboard material. The internal tissue used is also recyclable and the peanut fillers are fully biodegradable – checkout the video on our Instagram page.
At Kus Culture® we are proud to confirm that all our hair care products and tools are cruelty free. This means that none of our products or the ingredients we use have been tested on animals.
