When should I use this comb?

It’s never ideal to comb your hair while it’s still wet. So, we recommend drying your hair (semi to full dry) before using your comb.

What hair type is this comb best suited to?

Finer hair and beards.

I have curly hair, should I use this comb?

Yes, in finer wet hair to distribute product evenly if that is your chosen method of distribution.

What material is the comb made of?

Sandalwood, cut and crafted from one piece.

How do I clean my comb?

  • The best way to clean a wooden comb is to soak it in warm water mixed with mild soap or detergent for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Gently wipe any dirt or debris from the comb, running a small piece of cloth through each tooth. 
  • If there are stubborn residue left even after wiping, scrub the comb gently with an old toothbrush. 
  • Do not forget to wipe the comb with a piece of cloth to completely remove water and dry
  • We recommend once a fortnight to ‘seal’ your wooden comb with a dab of oil evenly distributed all over the comb. 
  • It is important to use water sparingly during cleaning of our wooden combs to avoid wood damage. 
  • Always wipe off water after cleaning. Be gentle and do not scrub too hard.
